Why is Notion Thief a Game Changer?

Notion Thief stops every opponent's additional draws and gives those cards to you instead. Flashed in with Ancient Tomb mana before a wheel effect, it turns a symmetrical draw-seven into a one-sided draw-twenty-one while three players discard their hands and get nothing. Even without that, its static ability quietly switches off every draw engine at the table. Simultaneously denying and stealing the table's resources is a hallmark of the stax cards on this list.

What bracket can I play Notion Thief in?

  • Bracket 1 & 2 — not allowed. A single copy of Notion Thief puts your deck above Core.
  • Bracket 3 (Upgraded) — allowed, and it counts as one of your three permitted Game Changers.
  • Bracket 4 & 5 — no limit, so it costs you nothing here.
