About EDHcheck

EDHcheck is a free, fan-made tool for analyzing Magic: The Gathering Commander (EDH) decks — estimating power level and WotC bracket, detecting combos, simulating mana bases, and helping you build, playtest, and share decks. It is provided by an independent hobby developer and is not produced by, endorsed by, supported by, or affiliated with Wizards of the Coast. By using the website (edhcheck.com), the deck builder, the playtest tools, or the EDHcheck Discord bot, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Intellectual Property

All original content, code, design, analysis engines, and simulation results on EDHcheck are the property of its developer. Magic: The Gathering, all card names, card text, mana symbols, and related imagery are trademarks and copyrights of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Portions of EDHcheck are unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. Card images and card data are sourced from Scryfall under their image use guidelines; combo data comes from Commander Spellbook. Card names, rules text, and game mechanics referenced in our tools and articles are used for commentary, education, and analysis purposes.

Use of the Tools

Our tools (deck analyzer, bracket calculator, mana base simulator, deck builder, deck tester, land database, price checker, pack simulator, and the Discord bot) are provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You may analyze your own and public decks, share results (screenshots, links, embeds) freely, and link to any page on this site.

You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or make automated bulk requests to the site or its APIs;
• Resell, rebrand, or redistribute the tools or their output as a commercial product;
• Use the service to distribute malicious content, spam, or illegal material;
• Attempt to access, modify, or disrupt systems, accounts, or data that do not belong to you;
• Circumvent rate limits or other technical protections.

Automated or high-volume access may be rate-limited or blocked without notice to keep the service available for everyone.

Premium Subscription & Refunds

Most of EDHcheck is free, as described above. Premium is an optional paid subscription — see the Pricing page for current plans and pricing — that unlocks Moxfield bulk import, an ad-free interface, priority analysis, in-depth AI deck analysis, and official card rulings lookup. Payments are processed by Stripe; EDHcheck never sees or stores your card details.

Premium renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account menu ("Manage subscription") or the Pricing page, both of which open Stripe's secure billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep Premium access for the rest of the period you've already paid for, without a separate prorated refund for the unused days (that's what the 14-day right below is for).

14-day right of withdrawal.If you're a consumer, you can cancel a Premium purchase within 14 days of paying, for any reason, for a full refund — no need to justify it and no deduction for use during that window. To use this right, contact us within 14 days by email at [email protected] or via the Contact form (topic: "Refund"), from the account you subscribed with. We aim to process refunds within a few business days of your request.

Statutory Guarantee

Separately from the 14-day right above, EU and Danish law give consumers a statutory guarantee period (two years is the general standard) covering paid digital services that don't work as described. If a Premium feature is genuinely broken or doesn't match what's described on the Pricing page, contact us and we'll fix it or make it right — this is separate from, and in addition to, the 14-day refund right above.

Accounts & Your Content

You may sign in with Google to save decks, publish them to the community, and comment. You are responsible for the decks, names, and comments you create and publish, and for ensuring they do not contain offensive, illegal, or infringing content. By making a deck or comment public, you grant EDHcheck a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute that content on the site so it can be shown to other users. You retain ownership of the lists and text you create, and you can delete your decks and content at any time. We reserve the right to remove any submitted content and to suspend accounts that violate these terms, at any time and without notice.

The Discord Bot

The EDHcheck Discord bot lets you analyze decks from within Discord using the same analysis engine as the website. It only reads the deck link or list you explicitly pass to its slash commands; it does not read your other messages. Your use of the bot is also subject to Discord's own Terms of Service.

No Warranty & Accuracy

THE SERVICE AND ALL TOOLS, CONTENT, AND RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Power levels, brackets, combo detection, simulation results, cast rates, and price estimates are automated estimates meant to support pregame conversation — not official rulings, and not guarantees of accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose. Card data, prices, and legality come from third parties (Scryfall, Commander Spellbook, TCGPlayer, Cardmarket) and may be delayed, incomplete, or change without notice. We strive for accuracy; if you spot a mistake, use the in-app feedback button and we will correct it.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDHCHECK AND ITS DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose — which is zero for the free tools, since they don't cost anything, and capped at your Premium subscription payments for anything related to Premium. This doesn't limit rights that mandatory consumer law in your country of residence doesn't allow us to limit, including the 14-day right of withdrawal above.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EDHcheck and its developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your submitted content, or your violation of these terms.

Content Reproduction

You may read, share, and link to our content freely. Brief excerpts of our articles and update posts with attribution and a link back are welcome; reproduction of full articles or of our analysis output as a product requires permission.

Changes & Availability

This is a passion project run on a limited budget, so features and availability may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued at any time. We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from your use of the service will be resolved in the courts of Denmark, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
