Is Natural Order a Game Changer?

Yes. Natural Order is on the official Wizards of the Coast Commander Game Changers list. Trades a green creature for any green creature in your deck, straight onto the battlefield.

Why is Natural Order a Game Changer?

Natural Order converts a spare mana dork into the single best green creature in the deck, put directly onto the battlefield for four mana. Skipping the cast means skipping counterspells and skipping the mana cost of what is usually a very expensive creature. Green's ability to produce disposable bodies early makes the sacrifice cost trivial. Tutors that cheat a permanent into play rather than into hand are consistently stronger than they look, because they compress two turns of the game into one.

What bracket can I play Natural Order in?

  • Bracket 1 & 2 — not allowed. A single copy of Natural Order puts your deck above Core.
  • Bracket 3 (Upgraded) — allowed, and it counts as one of your three permitted Game Changers.
  • Bracket 4 & 5 — no limit, so it costs you nothing here.
