Why is Demonic Tutor a Game Changer?

Demonic Tutor is the baseline against which every other tutor is measured: two mana, no condition, no downside, any card. Its effect on a game is consistency — the deck that runs it plays as though it drew its best card, every time. That is why unconditional tutors dominate this list. They do not add power to a deck so much as remove variance from it, and a deck that reliably assembles its plan on schedule produces a very different game than one that has to find the pieces honestly.

What bracket can I play Demonic Tutor in?

  • Bracket 1 & 2 — not allowed. A single copy of Demonic Tutor puts your deck above Core.
  • Bracket 3 (Upgraded) — allowed, and it counts as one of your three permitted Game Changers.
  • Bracket 4 & 5 — no limit, so it costs you nothing here.
