Is Biorhythm a Game Changer?

Yes. Biorhythm is on the official Wizards of the Coast Commander Game Changers list. Sets every player's life total to their creature count — usually ending the game immediately.

Why is Biorhythm a Game Changer?

Biorhythm came off the banned list in the 9 February 2026 update and went straight onto the Game Changers list, which is the standard treatment for an unbanned card of this weight. Setting each player's life total to the number of creatures they control is not a swing so much as a full stop: in a deck with any board presence at all, it kills every opponent with an empty or near-empty board on resolution. Eight mana is a real cost, and the Commander Format Panel has said it now scrutinises expensive cards harder — but a sorcery that simply wins on resolution clears that bar regardless of price.

What bracket can I play Biorhythm in?

  • Bracket 1 & 2 — not allowed. A single copy of Biorhythm puts your deck above Core.
  • Bracket 3 (Upgraded) — allowed, and it counts as one of your three permitted Game Changers.
  • Bracket 4 & 5 — no limit, so it costs you nothing here.
