Why is Panoptic Mirror a Game Changer?

Panoptic Mirror imprints an instant or sorcery and casts a free copy of it every upkeep, forever. With a Time Warp effect that is a permanent extra-turn loop and the game is over; with almost anything else it is a repeating free spell no opponent can stop without artifact removal. Five mana plus the imprint is slow, but a card that grants a genuinely infinite loop with no further investment is the kind of thing players deserve advance warning about.

What bracket can I play Panoptic Mirror in?

  • Bracket 1 & 2 — not allowed. A single copy of Panoptic Mirror puts your deck above Core.
  • Bracket 3 (Upgraded) — allowed, and it counts as one of your three permitted Game Changers.
  • Bracket 4 & 5 — no limit, so it costs you nothing here.
