Why is Teferi's Protection a Game Changer?
Teferi's Protection phases out all your permanents and makes you untargetable with protection from everything until your next turn. Nothing on the battlefield can be destroyed, your life total cannot change, and you skip whatever was about to happen — a board wipe, a lethal swing, an opponent's combo turn. It is the most complete answer in the format for four mana at instant speed, and a player holding it changes the maths on every attempt to interact with them.
What bracket can I play Teferi's Protection in?
- Bracket 1 & 2 — not allowed. A single copy of Teferi's Protection puts your deck above Core.
- Bracket 3 (Upgraded) — allowed, and it counts as one of your three permitted Game Changers.
- Bracket 4 & 5 — no limit, so it costs you nothing here.
