I teased this in the last update, and it's finally live: EDHcheck has its own deck builder now, and it's in beta.
The short version is that you can build a Commander deck right here — search cards, add them, pick printings, write up your strategy — and then run it through the analyzer without leaving the page. No exporting a list from one site to paste into another. Build it, then check it.
Here's how it all works.
What it is
It's a full deck editor built into EDHcheck. If you've used the deck list view before, it's that, but turned into an actual place to build instead of just read.
Everything you make saves to your account on its own and shows up under the new My Decks page. From there it's one click to a full breakdown — power level, bracket, combo detection, the tutor and fast-mana counts, all of it. And it works in both light and dark mode.
Building a deck
You start from the Decks tab in the top menu, hit Create a deck, give it a name, and you're in.
Add your commander at the top (or a partner pair — both get pinned up top with their color identity blended in), then start typing in the search box. Results show up as you type, so you can add cards quickly. Your list sorts itself into columns by card type, and if you'd rather group by color, mana value, or rarity, you can switch that around. As you hover across the list, the card art on the left follows along so you always see what you're looking at.
Every card has its own menu — right-click it or use the three dots — to swap the printing, toggle foil, change the quantity, move it to your sideboard or considering pile, copy the name, or pull up the full card details. Foiling a card is purely for looks, but it's a nice touch.
There's a mainboard, a sideboard, and a "considering" pile for cards you haven't committed to. There's also a Tokens tab that figures out what tokens your deck makes on its own — Treasure, Clue, Gold, Energy, The Ring, and so on — so you don't have to track them by hand. And an About tab where you can write up the game plan or a primer, so anyone looking at the deck knows how it's meant to play.
Already have a list somewhere?
If your deck already lives on Moxfield or Archidekt, or you've just got it as text, use the import option and it'll pull the whole thing in, ready to edit. No need to rebuild it card by card.
Analyzing and sharing
When you want the numbers, hit Analyze. It runs right there on the page — no jumping around — and gives you the power level, bracket, and combo report.
Decks stay private by default. When you mark one complete, it gets analyzed and posted to the Community page so other people can see it. If you change your mind, set it back to private or delete it and it comes straight back off the community — nothing lingers.

Why it says "beta"
I'm calling it beta on purpose. The core works — building, saving, importing, analyzing — and I've spent real time making sure it's safe to run on a live site. But a feature this size always has rough edges in the first few weeks once real people start using it in ways I didn't think of.
So if a card won't resolve, a layout looks off somewhere, or something just feels wrong, that's exactly what I want to hear about right now. You'd be helping me sand it down.
What's coming
This is the starting point, not the end. A few things I'm already working on:
- Printings and pricing shown inside the analysis, so you can see which versions you're running and what they'd cost.
- A proper community browser for digging through decks other people have built.
- More building tools over time as I see how people actually use it.
