EDHcheck now lives where a lot of pod talk actually happens: Discord. There's a new bot you can add to any server, and it runs the exact same analysis engine as the website — no copy-pasting links back and forth, no leaving the channel.
What it does
Add the bot to your server and you get a single slash command:
/analyze deck:<link or list>
Drop in a Moxfield or Archidekt link, or paste a plain decklist, and within a few seconds the bot replies with a clean summary card:
- WotC Bracket (1–5) — Exhibition through cEDH, using the official Game Changers criteria
- Power level — the 1–10 score from speed, consistency, ramp, draw, and salt
- Color identity of the deck
- Infinite combos detected in the list
- Game Changers count
- Total cards
- A direct link to the full breakdown on edhcheck.com, where you get the complete card-by-card analysis
It's the website's analysis, delivered as a Discord message your whole pod can see and react to.
How it works
The bot is built to be fast and honest about what it's doing. When you run /analyze, you'll see it work in real time:
- Importing deck… — pulling the list from Moxfield/Archidekt or reading your pasted cards
- Analyzing N cards… — running the full engine
- The finished card, with everything above
So if a big list takes a moment, you can tell the bot is actually working and not stuck.
A note on privacy: the bot only ever reads the deck you hand to a command. It doesn't read your messages, and the only thing logged is anonymous, aggregate usage (which command ran, and a pseudonymous server/user ID for counting) — same spirit as the rest of the site.
Where to get it
Head to the Discord page and hit Add to Discord, or use the button in the homepage banner. Pick the server, authorize, and the bot shows up in your member list ready to go. No account, no config.
If you don't run a server, you can still send your pod an edhcheck.com link the old way — but if your group already lives in Discord, the bot makes "what bracket is this?" a one-line question with an instant answer.
What's next
This is the first version, so it's intentionally simple — one command that does the thing people ask for most. Depending on how it gets used, natural next steps are things like comparing two decks, a quick pod-wide bracket check, and richer combo details inline.
