Star Trek Commander Decks

Releases Nov 2026

Four Commander decks for Star Trek's 60th anniversary: Picard's Federation Fleet, Spock's Landing Party, Worf's Klingon Fury and the Borg Queen's We Are the Borg.

The 4 decks

Federation Fleet Commander deck box

Federation Fleet

Jean-Luc Picard on the box

WhiteBlueRed

Seek out card draw, charge your starships

Picard leads a white-blue-red deck that draws cards and powers up Spacecraft with station, the charge-counter mechanic from Edge of Eternities. Starships start as artifacts and become creatures once they have enough counters.

Landing Party Commander deck box

Landing Party

Spock on the box

GreenWhiteBlue

Strange new worlds, trigger landfall

Spock fronts a green-white-blue landfall deck. "Strange new worlds" is an ability word that counts the differently named lands you control, so the more varied the mana base, the bigger the payoff.

Klingon Fury Commander deck box

Klingon Fury

Worf on the box

RedWhiteBlack

Show your aggression, hit the whole battlefield

Worf leads a red-white-black Klingon deck that rewards aggression and hits every opponent at once. On paper it is the most direct of the four.

We Are the Borg Commander deck box

We Are the Borg

The Borg Queen on the box

WhiteBlueBlack

Grow your ranks, assimilate the enemy

The Borg Queen heads a white-blue-black deck that builds a Collective of Borg artifact creatures and uses assimilate to take opponents' creatures, which join with a +1/+1 counter as Borg.

Colours and themes are printed on the boxes. Each deck has 100 cards, 32 of them new to Magic, with a Traditional Foil face commander in borderless art, ten double-sided tokens and a deck box, at 74.99 USD. The decklists are not out yet; each deck gets the full EDHcheck analysis, power level and bracket as soon as Wizards publishes them.

Star Trek Commander Precons

Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek releases on November 13, 2026, for Star Trek's 60th anniversary, with four Commander precons: Federation Fleet led by Jean-Luc Picard, Landing Party led by Spock, Klingon Fury led by Worf, and We Are the Borg led by the Borg Queen. Each is a ready-to-play 100-card deck with a Traditional Foil borderless face commander and 32 cards new to Magic, at 74.99 USD, and a Surge Foil Collector's Edition of each sells for 159.99 USD.

The decklists are not published yet. This page will carry all four the day they are, each one analysed for power level, WotC bracket and how many turns it takes to win.

Which Star Trek precon should you pick?

The boxes spell out the plans. Federation Fleet is white-blue-red card draw that charges up Spacecraft with station counters. Landing Party is green-white-blue landfall, with a strange new worlds ability word that rewards a mana base of differently named lands. Klingon Fury is red-white-black aggression that attacks every opponent at once. We Are the Borg is white-blue-black and steals the table's creatures with assimilate, turning them into Borg artifact creatures.

For a fast, straightforward game, Klingon Fury is the obvious pick. For a deck that builds an engine and grinds, We Are the Borg or Federation Fleet. Landing Party sits between them, ramping and growing its board each turn. When the lists are out, compare the four analyses here side by side before you buy.
